Why wont people just do as they are told!! Im currently trying to persuade mine and my hubbys family to move to America with us but its not going well. Going to America only made us hate this country more so I now want to leave but I wont go without our famnilies as Im very close to them and wouldnt want to be so far away from them all. hhhhhmmmm why wont they just do as i say lol
You go your way, I'll meet you in hell ;-)

If you move there it wont be like a permanent holiday....
The grass is not always greener. Or have you won the lottery & can therefore buy a massive house & not work?

mind out for car jackers & crystal users
What a cunning character

really? and there I was thinking i would be riding rollercoasters and going out for dinner all the time. silly me. maybe I should have given it some real thought.

Of course I havent won the lottery and yes I would work out there. I could sell my house here and comfortably buy one bigger and better out there. I know a lot of people who have emigrated to America, Australia and I have family in Canada and believe me the grass is definatly greener its just having the bollocks to do it thats my problem

As Al says, if you want to do it, go for it whilst you are young.

Do you want to be looking back on it in a few years thinking. 'I wish I had made that move then'

But keep in touch here :)

Bang on MJ, this country is turning into the ultimate free-for-all.

I'd get out as soon as possible, drug your family stick em on a plane and go.
My parents are looking at Australia.  Im thinking Canada, snowboarding instructor for me thanx

Canada is a good one, they are crying out for all sorts of trades. I have two cousins who do roof's (Im sure they have a technical name lol) and they went out to Canada in August on a six month visa but they are extending it

It pays well, but the risks are greater

this thread was typical of the end. bum licking advice giving no it alls. yet at the end the comedy shone through. travellers! what a fantastic reply :)

it could have been roofers, but that would have made the poor girl look rather daft... so calling them pikeys gave me a laugh & saved her some fave, even though it meant she was a pikey by default
