DJ Jakki Degg has been a successful model for the last decade. Gracing the covers of many magazines and travelling the far ends of the globe on assignments.
As well as being an international cover girl, featuring in magazines such as FHM, MAXIM, GQ etc, music has always been very close to her heart so when a close friend suggested she try Dj'ing she began playing around with the decks and that is where her love affair started:
There is no greater feeling than being on the decks and seeing people enjoying what is being played, it is probably the closest anyone can ever get to performing on stage ….
"Djing is a great way for me to express myself musically, I love music and sounds that invoke a feeling or emotion. I heard a great quote once, "Music is what feelings sound like". I think that that is so true, music can make you happy, sad, angry and reminiscent."
Jakki has been seriously Dj'ing professionally since January, 2009 and has already played at some of the World's most prestigious venues, such as Estoiles, Abu Dhabi, SIN in Shanghai, L.I.V. In Miami, Ministry of Sound in Egypt and is due to appear in the prestigious Scotch Bar in Vienna in September this year.
